Exhibition of drawings on cardboard boxes, created by pupils in the POP-UP Studio at the Nobel Peace Center.
The theme of the drawings was FREEDOM: What does freedom mean to you in your life?
Everyone followed the same rule: the drawing had to begin 10 cm from the corners of the box. When everyone follows this rule, the individual drawings can flow into one another when the boxes are stacked together. In this way, each participant’s unique line, imagery, and visual expression become part of a larger, interconnected image.
Students from Bingsfoss Lower Secondary School and Manglerud School attended the exhibition opening and stacked the boxes in different configurations, creating walls and spatial installations.
