Black markers on painted wall
Wall drawing created with pupils from Kunstklubben at Høybråten School.
Location: Walls in the classroom for Food and Health.
Theme: Food.
I created a composition based on a line and drew it up across the wall. The line related to the spatial elements of the room and functioned as an integrating force, binding the multitude of drawings into a coherent whole.
Linjen stod i sammenheng med romlige elementer og hadde om funksjon å binde mylderet av ulike tegneuttrykk sammen til en helhet.
The pupils were free to work on the wall. Some developed sketches beforehand, while others drew directly on the wall. The project became a social and creative process characterized by collaborative drawing.
The project was initiated by Hanne Whist Johansen.
My artistic contribution in the project:
Sharing knowledge about the use of visual elements and techniques in artistic wall work. Creating a composition in relation to the space and architecture. Inspiring and guiding participants throughout the drawing project.
